Secata is a single-ended three bipolar-transistor amplifier.  It was designed as a minimum component count project and actually sounds quite nice too.

As you can see it has three main components:

Top left is the preamplifier that houses switching and two of the three transistors per channel.

Top right is the power amplifier that just houses one transistor, resistor and capacitor per channel.

Bottom is the power supply for the power amplifier.

All housings are 16 gauge powder coated steel welded construction.  It dissipates around 300W total for a maximum output of 10W RMS per channel.  The large black heat sinks are designed to reach around 115 degrees centigrade when up to temperature.

The sound is very smooth and detailed, you can listen to it for hours and it keeps the room warm!
